Forest Certifications
Services are available to develop or maintain existing programs for the prominent certifications schemes utilized in Canada for both sustainable forest management and forest product chain of custody. I maintain a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) designation through Forest Professionals BC.
Environmental Management
For the solid wood sector, support can be provided for the development and maintenance of environmental management programs. I maintain an Environmental Professional (EP) designation through Eco Canada.
For more complex facilities, such as kraft and mechanical pulp mills environmental program management and permitting services are available through affiliation with Envirochem Services Inc.
Internal Audits
Professional internal auditing services are available for:
- sustainable forest management and fiber sourcing standards,
- forest product chain of custody standards,
- environmental management systems certified to the ISO 14001 standard, and
- wood product facility environmental compliance.
I hold a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) designation through Eco Canada.
Expanded services, including internal environmental compliance audits of more complex facilities, such as kraft and mechanical pulp mills, internal ISO 9001 quality management system audits, and internal greenhouse gas verification audits are available through affiliation with Envirochem Services Inc.
